Botanical Metal Art for Interiors

I use ancient hand-embossing techniques to bring my ideas and designs to life.

My work explores seasons and transformation, looking at how plants grow from seeds into plants that flower or bear fruit. These transformations are translated into my pieces by engraving the seeds, stems and leaves into a copper patchwork background. The flower of that plant is then layered on top of the copper in contrasting silver-coloured pewter or aluminum as the focal point.

These artistic explorations are an invitation to notice the beauty in each season and to embrace transition into the next with an open heart and a sense of adventure.
